| 1 | Pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass |
| 2 | Pour all ingredients in a mixing glass |

The Old Pal’s recipe was first published in Harry MacElhone’s 1927 book “Barflies and Cocktails”, included in a column by journalist Arthur Moss. Moss is also credited to be the first reporter of another Campari-based staple: the Boulevardier.
