1 Part 1 Oz 30ml | Campari |
1 Part 1 Oz 30ml | Bottega Cinzano 1757 Vermouth di Torino G.I. Extra Dry |
Recipe
1 | Pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass |
2 | Pour all ingredients in a mixing glass |
3 | Stir with ice |
4 | Strain into ice-filled glas |
5 | Garnish with orange zest |

The Old Pal’s recipe was first published in Harry MacElhone’s 1927 book “Barflies and Cocktails”, included in a column by journalist Arthur Moss. Moss is also credited to be the first reporter of another Campari-based staple: the Boulevardier.
