"FOSCO, CAN I HAVE IT MY WAY?"
The bold twist that changed everything.
A splash of gin instead of the soda, to twist his usual cocktail. That’s what Count Camillo Negroni asked Fosco Scarselli, his favourite bartender at Caffè Casoni in Florence, in 1919. Not long after, the returning crowd would ask Scarselli for “what the Count usually has”, before the name itself became associated with the drink. The Negroni was born.
